Martha Cranston Duff

Martha CRANSTONE was born about 16 December 1841 and was a daughter of Alexander CRANSTON and Martha McQUEEN.  Martha was married to James DUFF in about 1865.  James DUFF was born about 26 December 1841 in Closeburn.  James DUFF died 29 March 1878 at Irongray in Kirkcudbright.  In 1881, Martha was living at Scarbrae in the Holywood Parish of Dumfriesshire.  Martha died on 24 July 1918.

i.  Janet DUFF, who was born about 1868 in Irongray.

ii.  Alexander DUFF, who was born about 1869 in Irongray.

iii.  James DUFF, who was born about 1871 in Irongray.

iv.  Martha DUFF, who was born about 1875 in Irongray.

v.  William Cranston DUFF, who was born about 1877 in Holywood.  William married Elizabeth Wishart EASTON and they had issue.
